Intending 2020 JAMB UTME candidates are to know that the total number of Questions expected to answer by each candidate on a particular subject are only 40 except use of English which is 60 questions. Let’s assume that you are taking 4 subjects like Use of English, Mathematics, Biology and chemistry
Use of English = 60 Questions
Mathematics = 40 Questions
Biology = 40 Questions
Chemistry = 40 Questions
Total Subjects = 180 Questions
Also in 2017 JAMB introduced system keys (8 in number) UTME candidates can use to write your exam without touching the mouse but all it takes is carefulness. They 8 keys/Letters are : All the candidates need to do is to press the letters A,B,C,D,P,N,S,R for responses (answer) to questions and keys:
- A – for choosing option A in response to questions
- B – for choosing the B option
- C – represents option C
- D – for selecting option D
- P – represents previous question
- N – is for next questions.
- S – is for submit
- R – is for reverse.
NB : On no account should a candidate press S button for submit when you have not finished picking your answers and cross checking your questions.
Tips for Success in 2020 JAMB UTME

Time Factor : Any candidate writing JAMB 2020 exam should be time conscious, the time given by each candidate to answer 180 questions for 4 subject is limited, not up to 3 hours, that’s the more reason you have to consider this factor. Once the CBT centre owner activates the exam license key given by JAMB, your time starts to count, it will be showing on the screening. As times goes by, the time will be reducing by seconds.
Attempt all Questions : All candidates are advised to attempt to answer all questions, don’t leave any questions unanswered. No need to panic as our exam team will provide you with all answers. You are good to go on this.
Submit your Questions : Finally, you are to submit your questions after you must have answered your questions within the stipulated time, if not JAMB will close its window once they time elapses thereby submitting your questions automatically.
