The Akwa Ibom State University, AKSU has commenced the online sale of post UTME supplementary admission form for the academic session of 2019/2020.
This is to inform all candidates who have not yet seen their names on the admission list to visit the nearest JAMB CBT Centre to upload their WAEC/NECO/NABTEB result on or before Friday, October 18, 2019 so as not to forfeit their chances of gaining admission.
However, the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) still has space to accommodate qualified candidates who could not secure admission into their 1st Choice Programmes. Interested candidates are hereby requested to consider the option of changing to other Programmes with the same UTME subject combination and O’level requirements, as indicated below:
(1) Agricultural Economics & Extension, Animal Science, Crop Science, Fisheries & Aquaculture, Soil Science
UTME Subject Combination:
English Language, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science & Mathematics or Physics.
O-level Requirements:
Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science and Physics.
(2) Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering
UTME Subject Combination:
English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
O-level Requirements:
Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
(3) Education / Mathematics
UTME Subject Combination:
English Language, Mathematics and any two other subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology
O-level Requirements:
Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
(4) Education / Physics
UTME Subject Combination:
English Language, Physics, Mathematics or Chemistry, plus one other subject.
O-level Requirements:
Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology
(5) Statistics, Mathematics, Physics:
UTME Subject Combination:
English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology
O-level Requirements:
Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(6) Zoology:
UTME Subject Combination:
English Language, Biology and any 2 of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
O-level Requirements:
Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
(7) Chemistry
UTME Subject Combination:
English Language, Chemistry & two (2) of Biology, or Physics or Mathematics.
O-level Requirements:
Credit passes in at least five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Categories of candidates who cannot be recommended for AKSU Supplementary admission are as follows;
- Candidates who did not participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise.
- Candidates with wrong UTME subject combination.
- Candidates with incomplete O’level requirements or awaiting result.
- Candidates who have not uploaded their O’level on JAMB portal/whose uploads have not yet reflected on CAPS.
Note:
Changing to any of these Programmes as indicated above does not guarantee automatic admission. Only candidates who meet the cut-off mark for the Programme would be considered.
Closing Date
The deadline for candidates to change Programmes on JAMB portal is Friday, October 25, 2019.
